Love Symbol?

Don't you just love love? Like what's not to love about love? It really inspires you to be a good person and if the person loves you back, can lead to great things.

You can have a boyfriend/girlfriend or a husband/wife. On occasion the lovers will exchange gifts. Maybe on a birthday, Valentines Day, or at a random time just to show their love. A gift like that could be something simple but with a lot of meaning such as rose.

In Roman and Greek mythology rose are grown from the god Adonis because of his love for Aphrodite.

Roses symbolize love, passion, desire, sensuality, purity, romance, and physical perfection. The color of a rose can also effect the meaning of the rose.

Red Roses: Love, Respect and Courage
White Roses: True Love
Red & White Roses: Engagement
Thorn-less Roses: "Love at first sight"
Deep Red Roses: Beauty & Passion
And my personal favorite: Rosebuds: Beauty, Youth and a Heart Innocent of Love

A rose can also represent a relationship. "A life with love will have some thorns but a life without love will have no roses" This quote help you understand that love has sacrifices and hardships but in the end can turn out to be something beautiful and much appreciated. What can be better knowing you're in a happy, solid, and loving relationship?

Roses have also naturally become a love symbol. When someone says "I love you" most likely an image of a rose will pop up in your brain.

A rose is a wonderful way to show love not just because of the reasons stated above but the fact that someone took the time to give you a rose.
