My Favorite Band: Black Veil Brides!

Have you heard of a band that goes by the name of Black Veil Brides? If not I suggest you look them up if you’re into rock bands/music. Black Veil Brides is a rock band that originally formed in Cincinnati, Ohio but reformed in 2009 in Hollywood.  There are five people in Black Veil Brides. Andy  Bierack, also known as Andy six, (lead vocals), Ashley Purdy (bass and back up vocals), Jake Pitts(lead guitar), Jinxx(rhythm guitar) and CC(drums). Each play a very important part in the band. Black veil brides stated that they were inspired by older bands like “Kiss” and “Motley Crue”.  There were various changes in the members of the band by lead vocalist Andy but eventually he found the right members and formed a very successful band.

The name Black Veil Brides is a Roman Catholic term used when a woman marries into the church and gives up all of the pleasures of life to devote her life to god. She is then deemed a Black Veil Bride. You can say it relates to a rock band where you have to give up many things in pursuit of what you are passionate about or believe in.

Black Veil Brides has a message behind their music. They have stated that the message behind their music is to believe in yourself and letting no one tell you otherwise. To have fun and live your life how you choose, you only have one life so make the most of it.

Many are inspired by Black Veil Brides music. Their songs have a true meaning to them. For instance if you look up their song Savior it has a true meaning, I believe. I agree with the message they put behind their songs.  You only have one life so why let people drag you down when you won’t even know them for the rest of your life? You only have to deal with those people for a certain amount of time. Like Andy said and I quote “Never give in and you’ll get through it ,always!”
